Salford student recovers from coma after suffering a head injury

Alfie confirmed his recovery on Twitter

Salford student Alfie Perkins has recovered from a coma after suffering a head injury at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Alfie tweeted: "Still winding all the c*nts up whilst in a coma" to confirm his recovery.

His head injury occurred after the 5pm kick-off at the FA Cup Final between Manchester City and Watford.

At 5:02pm on 18th May, a crew from London Ambulance service was called to the scene after reports of a person injured.

Adding in a follow-up-tweet, Alfie also said: "On a side note, thanks for all the messaged, big love to anybody who sent anything".

The response to Alfie's recovery has been overwhelmingly positive, with many Birmingham City and Aston Villa fans wishing him well and saying they're "glad to hear he's better".

The Tab reported Alfie Twitter-trolling Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish in March, after which Birmingham City then banned him from attending games.

Alfie Perkins has been contacted for comment.
