Guide dog puppies are coming to the MMU students’ union

You can book 15 minute cuddle appointments

Yes, you read that correctly. Guide dog puppies and dogs are coming to the MMU students’ union.

Manchester Metropolitan University have teamed up with The Guide Dog Association to create Discover Guide Dogs with MMU Sport which will be based in the union conference room on Tuesday 8th November. This will give you the chance to spend 15 minutes in a pen full of guide dog puppies and retired guide dogs.

The aim of this is to help reduced stress levels amongst MMU students and staff, along with raising money for the Guide Dog Association. MMU appreciate that many of you will have left your furry friends at home and this can help you fill the dog shaped void in your heart whilst your in Manchester. Science has proven that being around dogs reduces stress levels and makes us happier. Aren’t they great?

All you have to do is donate £3.50, it’s basically puppies or a meal deal.

So if you are free on Tuesday 8th November between 1-3pm then head onto the site and book your 15 minute pen time. Be quick though as the slots are selling out fast.
