A cyclist has been hit outside Fallowfield Sainsbury’s
He appeared to have a badly broken leg
Annabel MurphyAmbulances are currently at the scene opposite Sainsbury’s in Fallowfield after a cyclist was hit by a large black car.
Witnesses have reported that he was unconscious but alive and appeared to have a badly broken leg that was “bent up behind him”.
He had a cut on his head and was not wearing a helmet.
He is reported to have been dressed in black shorts and top and was surrounded by people in hockey gear. It is unknown whether he is part of the team.
An ambulance is reported to have arrived and paramedics were checking his pulse. It is unknown at this stage how serious the injuries are.
