ANOTHER woman has been raped in Manchester
It happened in the city centre
At around 2.50am on Wednesday morning a young woman, aged 18, was raped on a car park on Major Street in Manchester city centre.
A nearby security guard is thought to have rushed to the scene after hearing the girl’s screams. However, by the time he arrived, the attacker had fled.
Nearby residents have expressed their shock concerning the assault with a car park attendant simply stating, “It’s somebody’s daughter.”
The victim is currently being supported by specially trained officers and the police have launched an investigation. They have cordoned off the carpark are appealing for witnesses of the attack to come forward with any information they may have.
