A guide to the post exam events coming up


With exams nearing to a close and final essays submitted, Manchester is headed for summer and party season, and these events over the next two weeks will make sure the end of term goes off in style.

House of Wax’s 13 hour hidden forest party

On the 2nd June, Hidden invites you to a night of house, dub step, reggae and techno as Andrew Ashong, Mala and Ron Morelli take to the stage for a party from 3pm to 4am.

Souljam end of term party 

Alternatively, the same night, Souljam throws an after exams event at Mint Lounge. Expect soul, funk and disco tracks until the early hours, it’s always a winner.

Lost in Space summer closing party 

The final instalment of Lost in Space brings a 12 hour party to Hidden on the 7th June. Headlined by Move D, Hunee and Will Tramp, it’ll be a seriously good party packed with house, soul, jazz and techno.

Levelz end of term bash

Manchester’s own Levelz bring their post exam party to the Mint Lounge on the 7th so expect a mad night of grime, jungle and UK garage

Big Narstie’s end of exams summer terrace party and BBQ

Sure to be one of the highlights of the week, Big Narstie comes to Manchester for a mega end of exams 14 hour party at 256 in Fallowfield on the 7th. A BBQ and all day sesh starting at 1.30pm to the sound of grime, hip hop and UK garage seems the perfect way to finish term.

Lovedough

On the 8th June, Sankeys welcomes Lovedough for a night headlined by major artists Ghetts, Tempa T and Ms Dynamite. Definitely going to be a popular one!

Antwerp Mansion Rum & Bass 

Antwerp hosts their last day of exams party on the 8th June, welcoming Artful Dodger to the mansion for a night of baseline, grime, garage and house.

Hidden Hit and Run end of exams dance

On the same night, Hidden throws their end of term dub step, drum n bass and grime bash with Sir Spyro b2b Chimpo, Commodo, Rich Reason and many more.

Motherfunkers end of exam escapade

Antwerp Mansion throws an alternative end of term party on the 9th June, welcoming in the summer with a night of 60s, disco, soul, funk and Motown tracks.

Afterlife 

As most people know, Parklife festival hits Heaton Park on the 11th and 12th June, but the party doesn’t end after the headliner goes off stage. There are parties all over the city on both the Saturday and Sunday night to suit everyone’s taste and make sure Parklife goes off in style. Even if you’re not going to the festival, get yourself to one of the many Afterlife parties for a guaranteed mental end to this year of uni.
