Mexican food chain Chilango are going to celebrate their opening in Manchester by giving away free food all day long

The burrito chain Chilango are set to open up their Manchester branch on Oxford Street on 22nd April and will be celebrating by giving away free burritos for everyone.

It will be the London-based chain’s 11th branch and its first in the North West of England.

The CEO and co-founder of Chilango Eric Partaker said: “We’ve been desperate to expand our brand across the UK for some time now, and Manchester was the natural move up into the north for us.

“Manchester has a fantastic buzz and vibrancy, as does Chilango, so we think the brand and neighbourhood will work hand in hand to make this a great success. We are very excited.”

Work on the new branch is soon to be completed in preparation for the grand opening on Friday 22nd April.

Second year George said: “Any excuse for free food and I’m there”.

The chain will provide not only burritos but also a selection of tacos, nudos, nachos and salads that can be eaten in or taken away.
