Student tickets for Brian Cox Live have sold out already

560 tickets have gone

All student tickets have already sold out for Brian Cox’s live talk tomorrow.

The talk, which will happen tomorrow at 7pm in Uni Place, is raising money for Childreach International.

The talk is for students and the public, and there are still around 30 public tickets left. Students can still buy public tickets, but for £8 instead of £4.

The event was organised by Penelope Naylor and Tom Kite for the Manchester RAG Kilimanjaro Challenge. They are hoping to raise £2800, with collections at the end bringing in more.

Penelope, who has been organising the event said: “We have been overwhelmed by the amount of interest in the event and the support of the university to help it.

“We have seen lots of interest from MMU and Salford universities which has been great. It happens to fall on British Science week as well, which is perfect.”
