Manchester students think Manchester is the 26th best uni in the UK

Is that it?

We’ve ranked ourselves as the 26th best uni in the country.

Unsurprisingly, we like ourselves more than Oxford, who despite being one of the best unis in the world, rank 29th.

Surprisingly, Loughborough sit smugly at the top, rating themselves highly on the things that really matter like accommodation and SU facilities.

Whatuni’s rankings are based on the views of students, with 20,000 reviews published online with a minimum of 100 from each university.

We cracked the top 30 thankfully, lagging behind others like Harper Adams and Swansea.

Some of the rankings in particular seem to have aroused some suspicion causing one second year Lizzie to ask “is Harper Adams a real uni? I’ve never heard of it.”

The rankings came from categories such as; accommodation, job prospects, “city life”, and obviously (on a side note) courses and lecturers too.

They know how to have a good time
