
Vile Didsbury hit and run leaves man with broken neck
He was hit by a Peugeot at a high speed
A heartless motorist hit a man crossing the road in Didsbury and sped off.
Emergency services were called to the Wilmslow Road junction on Parrs Wood road in Didsbury at 10.30pm on Thursday 29th January.

A silver Peugeot 307 had struck a 37-year-old man off his feet when he was crossing the road, and the driver proceeded to drive off towards School Lane.
Arriving at the scene, emergency services discovered that the victim of the hit and run had severe injuries including a broken neck, back injuries and cuts to the head.
The police are urging anyone with information on this horrific incident to contact them.

Sergeant Iain Lamb said: “We would like to ask anyone who may have seen a car matching this description in the area at the time, or who thinks they recognise the vehicle, to contact us.”
“Also, if you know anyone who owns a silver 307 with damage to it’s front end, please ring the numbers below. It is possible the driver may not have realised they hit anyone, but we must speak to the driver as a matter of urgency.”
