Closet Confidential: Emily Cope

A peek into this law student’s trendy wardrobe

This week we took a look into the wardrobe of one of Manchester’s most stylish students to see what she is wearing this winter season.

Emily Cope is a third year Law student who, like most twenty-somethings, gets her outfit inspiration from Instagram where it seems you are spoilt for choice when it comes to fashion and beauty accounts.

She would describe her style as “simple and minimalist” and is drawn to darker colours, especially during the winter seasons.

Monday

This chunky knit jumper is from Primark – a comfortable and stylish bargain. She pairs it with an ASOS long black duster coat and some on-trend pointed boots from Zara.

Tuesday

This tan coat is a Topshop classic that will never go out of fashion. She wears it with a simple black polo-neck and some on-trend checked tapered trousers from Cow. She loves wearing a bold lipstick to brighten up her looks!

Wednesday

This Topshop faux fur gilet is a must-have item this winter – perfect for ‘wintering up’ any look. She wears it with some black culottes, again from Topshop and a River Island jumper. Her black sandals are Topshop and go perfect with the cut-off culotte style.

Thursday

She keeps it simple with a black jumpsuit from Primark paired with her Topshop sandals and the tan coat.

Friday

Her love of jumpers continues with this Topshop polo-neck. She pairs it with some black cigarette trousers and her strappy sandals.
