MMU student caught toilet stalking

Student spared jail after filming female students on the loo with hidden camera

You might have had bad flatmates, but this guy’s in a league of his own.

A Man Met student has been spared jail this week, after he secretly filmed women on the toilet.

Jennon Freeman (MEN)

Jennon Freeman, aged 20, was found to have hidden a camera behind some shower gel bottles in a shared bathroom in his Longsight flat.

One of his horrified flatmates first found footage of herself on his phone last year.

Jennon, who studies Geography, claimed it was “just a fetish”, and the girl didn’t take the matter further.

But in January this year, the flusher fetish struck again, and the victim decided it was time to get the police involved.

Freeman was taken to court, where he admitted two counts of voyeurism.

“He wanted to be a teacher but that is now not a realistic possibility”, said his defence lawyer.

Although he escaped being sent down the nick, Freeman will have to serve a two year community order, and has to pay his victims £100 each in compensation.
