Over 80 Loughborough Students now tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 4 days
87 confirmed student COVID-19 cases
Olivia ConnellyLoughborough University has been giving online updates as to the number of students testing positive with coronavirus.
As of the eighth of October, the total number of Loughborough students that tested positive for coronavirus is 87.
These cases have been reported via Loughborough University’s ‘Connect and Protect’ service on the Loughborough campus. Updates on the number of cases will be announced continuously.
Throughout the pandemic, Loughborough University has said: “We are working in a carefully managed way to put in place a range of measures and procedures to minimise the risk to everyone in our community.”
The University told The Loughborough Tab that they are not going to comment on the latest figures at this time.
