Loughborough have overtaken Durham in new uni league tables

Loughborough University is now a top five university according to The Times Higher Education 'Table of Tables' league table. This is an increase of one place from last year.

This increase means that Loughborough has overtaken Durham in the rankings, who have fallen to sixth place. Loughborough is now sat just below Imperial College London.

Loughborough scored a total of 77 points overall, one point behind Imperial and two points ahead of Durham.

The top three places in the table went to Oxford, Cambridge and St Andrews.
