Lucy BurtonThe snapshot general election is fast approaching and now there’s only a few weeks left to register to vote.
Us students are quite lazy when it comes to having to move, so registering for a postal vote is the best option yet. The deadline for postal votes is the 23rd March.
All you have to do is download and print the form, fill it in, and post it back to the electoral register office. Because we’re so nice we’ve even included the link for the Loughborough office address here.
This is even easier for us to do because of the postal services on campus. They’ve now moved to parcels, next to the accommodation centre, so you can literally pick up your form, fill it in and send it back within five minutes.
The younger generation voting opinion can really have an impact on the result of an election so it’s really important we use the voice we have.
