Tomorrowland DJ to study at Loughborough
He’s even got an award from David Cameron
An international DJ is coming to study at Loughborough this year in a development that could significantly spice up our small town’s night life.
Kishan Bodalia, known by his stage name ‘Bodalia,’ was one of the acts booked for Tomorrowland 2016, the world’s most prestigious dance music festival. He played alongside renowned artists such as David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Tiesto.
Throughout September, he is making guest appearances at fresher’s events across the UK. He even recently shared the main stage with Ella Eyre and Fuse ODG at Pangaea Festival in Manchester.
The multi-talented 21-year-old is coming to Loughborough to do an intercalation in Sports Science as part of his Medicine degree.
Kishan said: “Coming to Loughborough is going to be a lot of fun. Balancing my DJ’ing with my degree will be a challenge but I’m looking forward to it. I’ll definitely make the most of my time here.
“I always like a good night out. I’m into all genres and styles, but for me, it’s the people and atmosphere that make the night.”
Kishan has even received congratulations from former Prime Minister, David Cameron, who presented him with the ‘Points of Light’ award for his work as Director of New Street Records, a student record label helping aspiring musicians to get a foothold in the industry.
