‘Killer clowns’ reportedly spotted on Epinal Way in Loughborough

People are saying they’ve seen creepy “killer clowns’” in Loughborough.

The craze, which started on college campuses in the US, has spread to UK soil in the last few weeks.

Now one Facebook user claims he saw a clown in Loughborough.

The post, via Spotted: Loughborough said: “Me and my wife was walking down Epinal way Loughborough and spotted these. It’s beyond a joke please be careful and aware if seen contact the police it needs to be stopped.”

He then posted this picture:

Elsewhere in the UK, a clown was spotted outside Belfast nightclub Villa last week.
There have been at least six clown sightings in Newcastle, prompting Northumbria Police to arrest one brandishing a knife.

One was also seen outside a pub in Sheffield on a mobility scooter, and another driving a white transit van through Liverpool city centre.

Now people think the trend has spread to Loughborough, and they’re not happy.
