Loughborough’s Bachelorettes: Emily Millen

Daym son where’d you find this?

After Loz Johnson stole your hearts last semester – crowning him Loughborough’s Fittest Fresher with nearly half the vote – it’s time to pick your bachelorette.

First up is Emily, a Media and Communications fresher in Harry French. She looks as if she’s straight off Cover Girl with her petite frame and luscious blonde hair.

Where do you like to go out in Luff?

I often like to go into town with friends for a Costa coffee or to just do a bit of shopping on the weekends. FND is a must every Friday though.

How do you keep yourself looking so beaut?

I don’t really have a lengthy beauty routine, but I do love a good face mask. My flatmates always laugh at me for spending hours with a face mask on. I use Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1, but I literally swear by it, despite looking like something off of Phantom of the Opera. I find long walks with my flatmates and a few runs are a fab stress reliever and a good way to try and stay in shape. In terms of hair, I use Moroccan Argan Oil which is so good for dry hair. With makeup I used to use Urban Decay eyeshadow but I’ve found W7’s eyeshadow palettes are very similar and much cheaper too.

What’s your ideal date?
Im very stereotypically girly when it comes to dates. Going out for a cute meal somewhere nice is my favourite. Although, I feel like the place where the guy chooses to take you can tell a lot about someone, for example one of the worst dates I’ve ever had was at Nando’s. There’s nothing romantic about watching someone get a water and then sneakily filling it up with refillable lemonade.

Dont take Emily to Nando’s

What’s your ideal type of guy?
My ideal guy is tall, dark hair, muscular with a nice trimmed beard and a great sense of humour. My celebrity crush is definitely Jake Gyllenhaal.

What is your Papa Si choice and why?
Most of the time I cant really remember what food I get from Papa Si, but my friends tell me I like to order sausage and chips and gravy then get upset when I’m told they don’t do gravy. How can they not do gravy?

Cute even in fancy dress

Dogs or cats?
Dogs all the way. Especially when they bring them into the union sometimes and if I’ve had a few drinks I’ll most likely try to cuddle them. And then cry.

What’s your drink of choice?
My alcoholic drink choice would be a glass of Rose or Gin and juice – but nothing can beat a good cup of tea.

You can vote for Emily at the end of the week.
