More details about new shopping complex in Baxter Gate revealed

Franki AlpertThe multi-million pound cinema complex in Baxter Gate will include Mexican bar and restaurant Loco Mexicana.
The list of new restaurants part of the 1,118 seat, eight-screen Cineworld cinema include favourites Nando’s and Starbucks as well as Mimosa, Bella Italia, Pizza Express, Brazilian grill-house Preto and Loungers.

Chairman of Citygrove Toby Baines, who is running the multi-million pound scheme, says the development is set for a Spring finish.
He told the Loughborough Echo : “Our work is finishing in February and as soon as that happens we will give people access – but we’re looking for a grand opening end of April, beginning of May.
“We wanted to make sure it wasn’t pizza or pasta and to get a cross section and that the restaurants do not cannibalise each other. We did not push people away but tried not to offer the same brand.
“Loco Mexicana are excited about the local demographic and student population.”
