Library to stay open until 2am
When’s it going to be 24 hour?
Oli DugmoreLate night nerds will be able to get their Pilkington fix past midnight, for the first time, during term time.
The welcome news comes as a result of extensive discussions between the library, University and SU.
Previously, the library closed at midnight.
In addition, during the 2016 Easter break, access will provided until 8pm Monday-Friday, as opposed to 5.30pm.

The changes come following comments and suggestions received from surveys and feedback forms.
Jamie Wordsworth, a History and English second year, said: “The new library opening hours are great news.
“Particularly for those who prefer to work at night like myself, an extra 2 hours every night will make a massive difference, especially around deadlines.”
