Mystery surrounds the disappearance of David Aitken 14 years ago
David studied Ergonomics at Loughborough
Ollie ParsonsAged 20 at the time of his disappearance, David Aitken was reported missing on 16 October 2001. He has still not been found, despite a number of appeals from his family and support groups.
David, an ergonomics student at the university was last seen by a fellow student on 15 October 2001.
In 2007, Porchlight Europe, a website that is dedicated to helping locate the missing and unidentified, posted that the last known contact anyone has had with David was a postcard with an Inverness postmark that was sent from Scotland.
He is 6ft 1ins tall of slim build with blue eyes and brown hair.
According to David’s family he was very artistic, and worked for a short time as a designer and illustrator.
