Sudden death of fresher shocks campus
She was 18
Tributes have been paid to first year Adele Addo, after she suddenly died at the weekend.
Addo passed away on Saturday at around 5pm.
It has not yet been confirmed how she died.
Addo was a member of the African Caribbean Society (ACS) and was due to represent them as the Big Clash Captain.
The university told The Epinal: “We were saddened to hear that Adele has died. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go to her family and many friends at this very difficult time.”
Her sister, Hannah, tweeted on Sunday: “My sister Adele passed away yesterday approximately 4.59pm. My family and I are clinging to God for strength during this difficult time.”
Then later: “It was sudden but was able to share last moments with her before she passed.”
