The Women’s Hockey Varsity this Friday 7th of March will be the first fixture of the eagerly anticipated 2014 London Varsity Series, promising to be a neck-to-neck showdown between UCLU and KCLSU.

Easter weekend saw UCLU Hockey Club and the London ‘Accies’ Academicals (alumni) take their talents down to Canterbury for the annual hockey festival.

After narrowly losing 2-1 to RUMS in the previous league match but winning every other league game, UCL Women’s 1sts needed to win with a 2 goal margin to get one step closer to being crowned League champions in the biggest BUCS league game of UCL’s season.
It was a magnificent day at the Old Cranleighan hockey club for a home fixture against LSE. The sun was out for what was the UCL’s last Sunday match of the season.
