UCL slumps in Whatuni.com rankings

We still beat King’s though

| UPDATED

In a boring confirmation of what we already know, UCL was voted the 81st best university in the UK, by us.

The Whatuni.com rankings placed Shropshite-based (not a typo*), Harper Adams University at the top of the list, closely followed by Loughborough and Swansea.

The result is a damning indictment of UCL’s consistently horrendous student satisfaction ratings and a reminder that success in other tables is usually bolstered by a strong performance in areas such as research.

St. Mary’s Twickenham was the London uni highest up the table, scraping in to the top 10 at ninth, whilst Imperial and LSE were 60th and 61st respectively, and KCL came crawling in at 83rd with QMUL miserably sandwiched between the two of us at 82nd.

The results make for depressing reading for the big-wigs at the University of London who are charged with the admittedly unenviable task of crafting a student experience amidst sky-high rents, dodgy clubs and miserable locals.

The results were concocted following analysis of over 25,000 student reviews across 125 universities in 10 different areas.

Second year linguist, Harriet, told The Tab she thought the result was “shit.”
