Mindful Morning Rave to be hosted in the Quad next week

It’s drug and alcohol free

Next Monday, 22nd March, UCLU Mindful Society – in collaboration with many other UCL societies – will be hosting a mindfulness rave in the Quad to mark the end of the academic year.

This is a sober, drug and alcohol free zone: a way to relax and have fun before the onslaught of revision and exams. The event will include a silent disco, yoga, mediation, as well as coffee and food, and you can even partake in juggling if you think you have the balls for it.

The theme is “Winter Sunrise”, but don’t forget to dress to rave! So don those flower crowns, grab some face paint and meet in the Quad for a morning of sobriety, soul seeking, and (hopefully) sun.

Treasurer of the Mindful Society, Laura Katan, told The Tab: “Tuesday morning will be unforgettable, and making your 9am has never been so appealing. Dance, stretch, eat, drink smoothies, glitter up and get there for the start for the full experience.

“Expect silent discos, yoga classes, juggling, free innocent smoothies and Aussie breakfast drinks, London nightline reps, meditation, facepaint and more.”

Tickets are only £3 and can be bought online here, there are limited numbers so make sure you nab yours quickly.
