Paddy BakerWith a wafer-thin majority of just 0.5 per cent, Lewis the Geordie – described as “living, breathing proof of the Geordie dream” – has been crowned UCL’s most eligible bachelor.
After being told of his electoral victory, Lewis told The Tab: “Obviously I’m delighted with my victory. I wasn’t expecting it at all so it was a really nice surprise to wake up to this morning. I can’t wait to exploit my position and new found fame 24/7. My gran is really proud of me.”

His good friend, fellow Northerner and loyal supporter Will, added: “Put simply, this may be the greatest event of 2016, nay, the century.”
In second place was Amaan, with Miles in third with nearly 15 per cent of the vote.

Lewis is currently celebrating his victory in true Geordie-style with a week long booze cruise down the river Tyne.
