EFS and RAG announce Blind Dates 2016

Roses are red, violets are blue, EFS and RAG present Blind dates for you

Matchmakers at EFS and RAG have announced their very first Valentine’s Blind Date event in aid of Pump Aid.

Your bae hunt could potentially come to and end on February 6th as UCL’s largest societies have collaborated to save lonely hearts in the lead up to Valentine’s Day on the 14th.

The chosen charity, Pump Aid, is a charity set upon installing water pumps in Africa’s poorest countries.

This could be you in no time

The process of applying is quite simple: to nominate yourself or a friend, it’s £3 and all the money will be going to charity. Meanwhile, for those looking to help your friend find their library bae, there’s also a £10 Matchmaker Ticket option which enables you to set up two people of your choice.

There will also be the the opportunity to optimise your matches by filling out a form to create a profile for your friend or yourself. It features everything you’d expect from a blind date set up: your likes, dislikes and your perfect date.

EFS President Merle Radow told The Tab: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to raise money for charity whilst having the chance to both play cupid and find your true love.”

Second year medic, Liam Taylor, who’s attending the event said: “I’m expecting a real mishap, they didn’t ask about sexuality so I just tried to slide it into a description of my personality. It’ll be great fun either way.”

More information and tickets can be found here, or you can check out the Facebook event.
