A peep inside the Baking Society’s Bake From Your Origins

Yummy

Enthusiastic Baking Society members gathered yesterday to  showcase some amazing bakes from their countries of origin.

In the weeks following The Great British Bake Off – which was heralded as a celebration of multiculturalism when Muslim Nadiyah won the show – it only seemed fitting to head to a UCL-own celebration of baking and cosmopolitanism.

The dingy lecture theatre was instantly transformed and filled with a plethora of rich smells, excited faces and sugar fuelled chatter.
