Smithdown Road closed as a man is on roof of Dafna’s Cheesecake Factory
Police have closed Smithdown Road following reports of the man on the roof
Rachel EvansMerseyside police have confirmed that a man is currently standing on Dafna’s Cheesecake Factory on Smithdown Road and that police are at the scene.
Arriva Northwest confirmed on Twitter that buses 75, 76, 80, 80A, 86, 86A are “all diverted off Smithdown Road/Ullet Road due to a Police incident at Greenbank Road (near The Brookhouse Pub).”
Both police officers and firefighters have been called to the scene.
Anyone walking around the area has been urged to use alternative routes.
