Heebie Jeebies is set to close because of COVID-19

They have created a Crowdfunder with an aim of £15,000 to keep the club open

Heebie Jeebies has announced that they will be closing due to not having funds to pay for the venue.

They have said they are apart of a “national initiative launched by the Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of 100s of independent music venues” in the wake of COVID-19.

Their Crowdfunder has a target of £15,000 which they must reach in 12 days. They are relying on benefactors and contributors who see benefit in keeping the club open.

The Heebie Jeebies Team has also said, “As the coronavirus lockdown goes on the future of our business will be adversely affected”.

They have said if they reach their target, “everything above the amount needed will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues”.

The team wants #saveourvenues to trend to raise awareness for all independent business who are struggling at this time.
