Apparently UoL has a campus in London… but it’s closing

All degree programmes will end next summer

The University of Liverpool announced today it will be closing down its London Campus at the end of the academic year.

It will continue with degree programmes until September 2020.

The campus is based in the financial district of London, and UoL was the first non-London-based Russell Group university to open a campus in the capital.

Executive Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the university, Gavin Brown, said UoL is 'seeking to focus its energy on driving access to a new generation of online programmes.'

He added the university will be prioritising these programmes to make them accessible to 'students all over the world.'

Despite not enrolling more students, Brown confirmed that students currently at studying at the London campus will leave the university as 'highly-skilled, commercially aware, workforce-ready graduates.'
