One of the most popular cities for students to visit has become even more accessible, as a new Eurostar service from London St Pancras to Amsterdam has been launched.

You don't just have to blaze it

Beginning on the 20th February, one-way fares start from £35, with the journey time to Amsterdam taking 3hr41; alternatively, a trip to Rotterdam is expected to be 3hrs, an ideal substitute to flying.

There will be two trains a day to the Dutch capital, departing at 8.31am and 5.31pm, and the service will be included in package deals on sites such as Expedia, lastminute.com and Travel Supermarket.
