Paid extras needed in Liverpool for biopic of J.R.R Tolkien’s life
The one casting to rule them all
Yasmin FursmanKey Casting have announced that there will be an open casting in Liverpool's Great George Street, Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th October, for Fox Searchlight and Chernin Entertainment's major feature film, Tolkien.
So where's the catch?! Actually, there is none. All you need to be is 16+ and in possession of some ID (Lord of the Rings fans, breathe now…).
The biopic, Tolkien, will star actor Nicholas Hoult (The Current War, Skins), alongside actress Lily Collins (To the Bone, Okja), and will follow Tolkien's early years as he finds the love and inspiration that led to the writing of his best-selling literary phenomena, The Lord of the Rings.
The casting directors recommend that applicants fast track the process prior to arrival by creating an online profile visit: uk.wegotpop.com/apply (we've got your back).
This will take place at Great George Community Cultural Project, The Black E, 1 Great George Street, Liverpool, L1 5EW on Monday 16th & Tuesday 17th OCTOBER, at both 10AM or 2PM on either day! Just remember to bring your passport.
