Harry Anderson to return to guild to supervise all-male student officer team

His shock return was decided by the Guild staff

In what was probably the most dramatic Guild elections yet, four men were elected as the 2017-2018 student officer team, leading to strong backlash from students. In a drastic turn of events, the Guild have enlisted much-loved ex-President Harry Anderson to return to supervise the team.

He will take on the role of Senior Supervising Officer (SSO) and will advise the team on their decisions for the Guild and entire student body, including women’s issues and minority groups.

Harry told us, “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to return for a third year of guild presidential politics. My inequalities masters at LSE has given me a real grounding in problematic sexual inequalities in political systems, and I’ll be utilising this within the guild structure to bring real change after the difficulties faced in the last election. Women are people and deserve to be noticed.”

Harry will sit in on all Guild meetings and panels, and will be available for one to one meetings after he starts in September.

Lol jk it’s April Fool’s xx
