The UK championships are highly competitive and trainers from around the world have been preparing to show off their skills all year. This year is shaping up to be the biggest national championships ever and for the first time in the history of the event a Pokkén (arcade game) Tournament will feature as a competitive game alongside the Pokémon Omega Ruby tournament, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire tournament and the Pokémon Trading Card Game tournament.
Trading card players will check in from 8am-9am on Saturday, video game players will check in from 9am-10am. This will be followed by rounds of competition and other side events throughout the day. On Sunday there will be top cut matches in both categories from 9am, plus side events from 9am-5pm.
