Sefton Park is one of top 50 places to live in the country

Marisa LeeSefton Park and Aigburth have made it onto the Sunday Times’ list of the UK’s top 50 places to live, confirming there is more to this city than the horrors of Smithdown Road.
The list was put together using a mixture of statistics about schools, house prices, transport link and other factors.
The student hot-spots are joined by Liverpool Waterfront in the list published this week.
This isn’t even that far from Smithdown
The Sunday Times wrote: “Scousers maintain that Lark Lane’s quirky shops, galleries, bars and restaurants rival those of Notting Hill, which is why they attract tourists as well as locals.”
Sefton Park itself also received a mention for its scenery, including the boating lake, palm house, café and children’s playground.
