The University of Liverpool is the 66th most international uni in the world.

We’ve risen an impressive nine places since last year, clocking up a rating of 79.5 this time around.

The highest scoring UK university is Royal Holloway in sixth place, closely followed by Imperial College, Oxford, St. Andrews, Brunel and Queen’s Belfast all featuring in the top 20.

Way to go

Our North-West rivals at the University of Manchester have a slightly greater global outlook however, coming in at 51st.

Times Higher Education’s report considers each institution’s percentage of international staff, its international student numbers and the proportion of its research papers published with a co-author from at least one other country.
