Man in hospital after being stabbed on Smithdown Road
He is in a stable condition
A man is in hospital after he was stabbed in the abdomen at the top of Smithdown Road.
The 20 year old – who hasn’t been named – took a taxi to hospital after he was attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He is now recovering at the Royal Liverpool hospital after being treated for serious wounds to his abdomen.
Augustine Adu, 30, was arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident and will appear before magistrates today.
