Bold Street comedy dave storage hunters students weekend

Top geezer Sean Kelly is swapping storage units for cupcakes this weekend on Bold Street.

More commonly known for flogging unwanted storage units to the likes of T Money and Papa Bear, Storage Hunters’ own Sean Kelly will be making a personal appearance at local cake shop the Custom Cupcake Company on Saturday.

His visit to the Bold Street store on November 29th comes in wake of a UK version of the show that recently hit our screens.

The show became an overnight success when first aired in the UK, and now enjoys a place in the hearts of students nationwide, especially during essay-season.

“All in fare ward…”

What better way to promote the UK version than in Merseyside with some cake, right?

Matt Blakey and wife Kelly, who own the Custom Cupcake Company, are hugely excited for the appearance.

Matt said: “We’re big followers of Storage Hunters, so when we heard Sean was coming to promote Storage Hunters UK, we jumped at the opportunity to have him in the shop.

“As he’s also a comedian, he’s sure to have a bit of banter, and we all know Scousers love banter.”

Sean’s visit follows co-star Jesse McLure’s trip to the store in April.

Matt got McClure’s attention after tweeting him a picture of a personalised cupcake.

He said: “Jesse is a really good friend of ours.

“I took him carp fishing last time he was here. We didn’t catch a thing.

“When he came into the shop it was absolutely rammed, so we’re expecting more of the same next weekend with Sean.”

Take selifes with Sean and stuff your face with Storage Hunter themed cupcakes between 11am and 1:30pm this Saturday.
