Anarchy raised its ugly head on Sunday after two students battled it out to stake their claim for a library computer in Liverpool’s Harold Cohen Library quiet study area.

According to witnesses, the scuffle erupted after one student returned to his study area after a leisurely two hour break to find his belongings removed and PC logged out by a fellow student.

Mayhem followed as the returning student attempted to physically remove the other using a forceful wrist grab.

The pair managed to both whisper and get very angry at each other

The pair manage to simultaneously whisper in Mandarin while getting really angry with each other, as the action then spirals into light shoving, aggressive pointing, and even some hostile name calling between the two.

Luckily for us, one student was on hand to catch the whole hilarious brawl on video.

After the incident, one student broke the first and second rules of Fight Club by telling The Tab: “They pushed back and forth and tried a few hits then some other students got pissed and told them to take it outside”.

“Then the dude who had left his PC started shouting how it was unfair and how he was sleep deprived.”

“Then another girl told him that rules are rules and he had to get out.”

An onlooker pointed to try and diffuse the situation

“After he left, the guy sitting at PC apologised to said girl and the room as whole. We all knew he was in the right and accepted his apology.”

Unfortunately, the instigator of the fight was unavailable for comment after the incident although we hope he’s learnt his lesson. The Harold Cohen PCs wait for no man.
