Police divers who had been part of the search for James, recovered a body at 2:30pm yesterday. It had been widely reported to be that of the missing man, and speculations have been confirmed by James’ mother on a Facebook group that had been set up to coordinate the search efforts.

The search for James reached national levels before the discovery, with thousands taking part on social media and through flyering campaigns throughout the North-west.
