Residents living on the Wirral are blushing after Google Earth images revealed their housing estate is shaped like a giant penis.

The furious locals now fear house prices will droop because no one will want to live in the phallic-shaped estate.

The houses, located on George Road, Edward Road and Yeoman Cottages in Hoylake, currently have an average value of £200,000.

Resident Carl Hodge, 45, said: “Since someone spotted this on Google Earth we have all become a laughing stock.  You can’t argue because it really does look just like a man’s c*ck and balls.

“I haven’t heard of anyone moving out because of it but we are definitely worried it would put off potential buyers if we ever wanted to sell.  Who would want to live in the cul-de-sac that everyone is taking the mick out of.”

The estate is a mix of privately owned semi-detached houses and ex-council owned terraces.

The houses were erected in the 1950s and 1960s but the crude shape of the cul-de-sack has only just been revealed on the latest Google satellite images.
