New survey ranks universities on millionaire graduates.

Times Higher Education has announced a new league table, placing Liverpool 238th when considering the affluence of graduates. In total, 42 universities from the UK made the top 500.

Top of the list was Harvard, closely followed by Harvard Business School. Oxford and Cambridge, rather unsurprisingly, also made the top 10. They also have some of the richest students before entering higher education, so are probably cheating a little bit there though.

However, Liverpool students can look down upon the relative paupers of Lancaster (296th) and Sheffield (299th), but can only gaze in envy at the riches of Manchester (152nd) and Leeds (148th).

Scrape that 2.1 and all this could be yours

Ranking insitutuions solely by the number of their alumni who became millionaires, they then considered how your course affected your chances. Rather surprisingly, your course and your profession are not necessarily related for the super rich.

Engineering produced the most millionaires, but other courses such as law and politics were also successful. Entrepreneurship was considered the most defining characteristic of future financial success.

But we know you all came here for the intellectual fulfillment, so probably don’t really care about all this.
