Liverpool: we’ve got it good

New rankings reveal Liverpool students have an excellent quality of life.

Liverpool has again triumphed in another survey. The study, by Legal and General Group PLC, has the city coming in at a respectable 4th in terms of quality of life.

Factors such as employment, wages and work-life balance were all considered across the 20 most populous cities to create a ranking based on the best overall quality of life for young adults.

Cardiff came out on top, with Coventry taking second place and Newcastle coming in third.

Despite Liverpool’s impressive ranking, it scored poorly on job satisfaction.

We did, however, do very well when it came to culture, and for “having a nice environment”.

Surprisingly, London didn’t even make the top 10: it came 15th overall (and was even beaten by the likes of Birmingham and Glasgow. Ouch).

But enough of dull old tables, it’s time to go and frolick gaily in our lovely surroundings!
