UoL Rate Your Shag Page Removed
The Facebook page that meant you could never possibly forget THAT one night stand has finally been taken down
Catherine ReidLiverpool’s ‘Rate Your Shag’ page has finally been taken down after students kicked off.
The page, which had over 700 likes, was taken down yesterday evening after angry students reported it on several occasions.
Even though messages were posted anonymously, some students still named and shamed their one night stand.
While a few posts were flattering, many were derogatory and insulting.
Almost every university around the UK had a page, some with several thousand likes.
One post on the Warwick page said:
“Poor effort, you kept on bitching about how others were less pretty than you but when I heard their name I couldn’t help wishing it was THEM on top. Thanks for trying. 3/10.”
One student, who prefers to remain anonymous, told The Tab they’d reported the page over six times.
The student said: “A girl I know was on it and was so upset. The post got removed after she reported it but it’s just nasty.”
All pages have now been taken down.
