Armed Police Called Out Twice Daily
Shocking stats reveal armed police in Liverpool were called out 5,000 times in the last seven years.
Catherine ReidMerseyside requires the assistance of armed police twice a day, with over 5,000 calls in the last seven years.
Recent statistics have revealed police armed with specialist Glock pistols were called out 706 times in 2011-2012, rising 10% compared to 2010-2011.
Just the other week, armed police were called out to the Hilton Hotel following a bust up involving notorious Liverpool gangster, Stephen ‘The Devil’ French.
However, despite this alarming revelation, no shots have been fired in six years.
