Power Failure Prevents Election Voting

Computing services have been disrupted since this morning.

Students trying to complete deadlines were once again faced with a failure in the university’s computing services.

Since this morning, students have been unable to log on, access Vital and M drives as well as being prevented from voing in the current elections as services have been affected by a power failure.

Even though computing services are said to be on the case, no one has any idea when the services will be restored.

Only a handful of computers are currently working in the Syndey Jones and Harold Cohen libraries, causing much unwanted disruption to students with dissertation and essay deadlines approaching.
