Bad Day for the Hilton
Armed police cornered off the Hilton Hotel this afternoon.
Catherine ReidThe Hilton Hotel and areas surrounding the Docks have been cornered off by armed police this afternoon.
A police helicopter was seen monitoring the area whilst armed officers patrolled outside the hotel.
The cordon was removed around 3pm this afternoon. Police then put up a cordon around the back of the Museum of Liverpool.
The news comes just as the Hilton Hotel’s exclusive club, Playground, faces a cocaine crack down after the substance was found in the VIP areas.
