London calling

How will the scouse brows and shell suits fit in on the new campus down south?

| UPDATED university of liverpool University of Liverpool in London

Two worlds are set to collide as Liverpool crosses the North/South divide in order to open a campus in the big city.

Those poor cockneys

The university have submitted a request to transform a building in Finsbury Square, ready to start postgraduate courses in September 2013.

Set to be a “uniquely Liverpool experience in London”, the London campus will provide students with a “peerless and diverse range of opportunities.”

Just when you’ve mastered the 699/86 dilemma…

Currently on offer are postgraduate courses in Architecture, Accounting, Psychology and Health and Life Sciences.

However, living out the last of your student days in London will cost you.

At the moment, an MA in Architecture at the university costs £5,135 and up to £13,692 for international students.

To complete an MSc in Architecture at the University of Liverpool in London will cost £9,450, going up to a whopping £17,100 for international students.

Although it may seem a good way to get into London and all the opportunities it can provide, the dream comes at a price.

Yet UoL still plans to “bring the characteristic spirit of individuality, ingenuity and enterprise from our home city to the capital.”

So get your scouse brows ready and the curlers out.  London isn’t ready.
