Remember AU?

The hoodies and trackies were out in full force yesterday as students were left too hungover to care.

Zombies invaded campus yesterday as the aftermath of AU emerged.

Lecture attendance was slashed, memory’s fuzzy, and random items of clothing were scattered across your floor.

Loving life

AU has returned to ruin our Thursdays and is once again hosted by the infamous Walkabout and Revolution.

It’d be rude not to drink every flavoured vodka shot provided.

The event had completely sold out by Tuesday morning after flocks of students anxiously queued in the Guild praying they’d get a ticket.

The sell out event united arch enemies as each team battled it out to be the rowdies crowd.

Cheerleaders turned up as American Footballers

Not surprisingly, the rugby team were out on the pull after having turned up in their boxers and red capes all claiming to be ‘Superman.’  Meanwhile, the more reserved karate team, dressed as pirates and ninjas, were the last to vacate the dance floor.

Everyone went all out for fancy dress in true AU style.  The Tab selected lucky Holly Waylen, a second year student who wowed everyone with her imaginative costume, for our ‘Best Fancy Dress.’

Winner: happy Holly from the snowboarders

Yesterday, students turned to the ‘Liverpool Unay Confessions’ to reveal their embarrassing tales.  One anonymous student apologised for wasting a ticket, confessing:

“I ended the night chundering all over myself and passing out in my doorway before even making it into town. The worst thing is that I bought an AU ticket that is still currently in my pocket and I know that many people missed out on the event due to tickets selling out.”

The squash team headed out with the classic ‘Cops & Robbers’ theme

The fact that barely anyone can remember a thing ensures the night was a definite success.

If you missed out this time, be sure to get in there early next month!
