The man also assaulted two members of university staff

Lincolnshire Police are looking for a man after a student was threatened with a samurai sword on campus.

On Saturday 1st October, a man was described as looking in and around cars parked on Campus Way, a heavily populated student area. After university security had challenged him, he left the scene at around 11:30pm.

Before police got to the scene, he threw a chair through a window and then made threats to kill a student with a weapon. It was reported that when university security intervened, he assaulted two members of the security team.

CCTV later captured him searching through a vehicle with what looked like a samurai sword. Police are looking to speak with anyone who is able identify the man.

If anyone knows the man, or witnessed any of the incidents please call 101 or email [email protected]
